Palm leaf; 6 to 8 lines on a folio; wooden boards.Manuscript consists of a Malayalam translation of the text of the Manuṣyālayacandrikā, a work on domestic architecture in Kerala, originally written in Sanskrit in the 16th century CE by Tirumangalat Nilakanthan Musat.

Inscription on label pasted on board: "Manuṣyālaya-candrikā (on architecture)"; inscription on f.69: "Manushyālaya-chandrika; a work on architecture. C. M. Whish".

The manuscript is listed in the synoptical list of manuscript numbers (Whish numbers and Winternitz numbers) at the beginning of ’A catalogue of South Indian Sanskrit manuscripts (especially those of the Whish Collection) belonging to the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland’ by M. Winternitz, with an appendix by F. W. Thomas (London: RAS, 1902). Winternitz notes that the manuscript is "not Sanskrit" and there is therefore no entry for it in the catalogue, and no Winternitz number.
